Many of you already know about these settings as found in the Vatican II Hymnal, but I thought I'd bring attention to them one more time—especially as I finally completed organ/keyboard accompaniments for both of them:
— Mass in honor of Our Lady of Good Help[PDF] — plainsong, mode VIII — Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe[PDF] — plainsong, mode VII
The titles are intended to call attention to the Blessed Mother in general, and to shrines in Wisconsin that honor her (Champion and La Crosse respectively); if I attempt another setting it will be titled after this one.
(NB: The melodies were penned first and are suitable for unaccompanied singing; thus the settings could be used at Daily Masses or "quiet" Sunday Masses.)
These sound great, by the way. We've been using the gloria harmonization for Guadalupe that you send me a while ago, and everyone really likes it. I'm glad we have the rest now!
