Solemnity of the Annunciation

I suppose the usual resources are coming out for this feast:

    - Gabriel's Message "The Angel Gabriel from heaven came..." (Basque Carol)
    - Ave Maria (of one sort or another - I'm planning on the Arcadelt version)

    What else?

SEP Communion "Ecce Virgo" - "Behold, a virgin shall conceive..."

Is the Advent Prose "Rorate Caeli" a suitable substitute for the introit?

For propers, don't forget to add the alleluias.... Regina Coeli would be appropriate as the Marian antiphon, and a Magnificat is a superbly Eucharistic canticle at the Eucharist.

1 hr before mass is due to start:

    SEP Introit and Communion.
Gabriel's Messsage - probably for offertory
Arcadelt Ave Maria - after the Communion Chant.

    Chant Mass Ordinary:

    Kyrie XII
    Gloria VIII
    Sanctus XVIII
    Agnus Dei Ad Lib. II

It is a weekday, and during Lunch after the mass there is usually a "Monday Muster" where any announcements are made for the week in the dining area. As much as I would love to put polyphonic stuff on for everything, the lot will be more or less sight-read by the schola and we don't want mass to run inordinately long. There is incense though, so there is flexibility, and being a Solemnity I can now return to my practice of organ interludes.

    Orate pro me, fratres!

The Hymn didn't go as well as I had planned, but I did manage to have the Kyrie Sung 9-fold (Lower Voices, Upper Voices, All Voices), but I didn't have the longer ending for the final Kyrie (keeping things simple).

I have a hymn, Nothing Is Impossible, in this collection: http://www.canticanova.com/catalog/products/g_hymns_lit_year.htm
