Just in the last few days, I've seen some posts about dom Gregory Murray. I grew up on his people's mass as a child 18 years ago. I am very interested in getting some of his organ music. I've seen he composed an interludes book as well as a organ manual only book/collection.
I'm not sure if his music is still published or not but if anyone has more info on his interludes book or other organ music he's composed, please let me know!!
Thanks so much to all other forum members for all the info you have given me on this forum. I've learned a lot since joining last fall!
The Kevin Mayhew publishing company in England has issued a collection called 148 Interludes for Organ which includes material by Dom Gregory Murray, as well as by Andrew Moore and the rather better known Noel Rawsthorne. I own this collection; and it would be very useful indeed for any church organist. Each piece is printed on two staves and can be played entirely on manuals if no pedal board is available, but there are clear indications as to when pedals can be used for the bass line. Here's hoping that this information helps you.
