The "Easter Approaches"? Why does that sound so much like a counterpart to the "Good Friday Reproaches"? :-)

Last year we spent the whole of lent preparing the music for Holy Week and Easter liturgies. It took us 5 weeks to master J.S. Bach's "Christ Lag in Todesbanden". An intense piece of music, but I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and the end result.

I'm a little worried this year. My DoM hasn't put anything out in rehearsals for Easter, though we do have something for Laetare Sunday.
