YouTube.com/VisitStPeters passes one million video views

    Since June of 2009, 549 videos of hymns, anthems, motets, organ voluntaries, choral and congregational movements of Bach cantatas and the Ordinary of the Mass, Monteverdi's "Vespers of 1610," and the largest online collection of Gelineau Psalmody have garnered 560 subscribers and 1,000,969 video views, and counting: 99.99% recorded from liturgies at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Columbia, South Carolina (www.facebook.com/visitstpeters). We are on YouTube playlists for Johann Sebastian Bach and John Rutter, and I believe a few others as well. Also you may wish to visit my companion site Youtube.com/MarkHusey.

    We are the host venue for opening and closing events of the AGO Region IV Convention this summer, and have planned a complete performance of J. S.     Your video collection is a source of great encouragement to those of us trying to make beautiful music in less than ideal circumstances. And your improvisational, alternate harmonizations, little interludes, etc, are electrifying and creative!
