Thanks, Daniel, for responding. My priest told me that his readings do not match these notations? I am out of town and don't have access to my books at home. Can anyone answer the riddle?
The tones are formulas, not syllable-by-syllable prescriptions; so, different sources will apply the formulas slightly differently. There are two gospel tones in common use, so this might be the big divergence.
There are several sets of readings for Requiem Masses,
Daily Mass, for the Departed also used for All Souls 3rd Mass: as linked above EPISTLE : APOCALYPSE 14. 13 GOSPEL : JOHN 6. 51-55
Burial Mass, also used for Mass on the 3rd, 7th and 30th day after Death or Burial: EPISTLE : 1. THESSALONIANS 4. 13-18 GOSPEL : John 11. 21-27
Anniversary Mass, also used on, All souls 2nd Mass: EPISTLE : 2 MACHABEES 12. 43-46 GOSPEL : JOHN 6. 37-40
Anniversary (and Burial) (For a Priest) also used All Souls 1st Mass: This is also found on the link above see All Souls. EPISTLE : CORINTHIANS 15. 51-57 GOSPEL : JOHN 5. 25-29
I presume that the your priest is looking at the Burial Mass readings, which are of course different to the Daily Mass for the departed. Having had a quick look on the linked site I cannot see chant sheets for the other 2 possibilities above.
Also it would be worth confirming which Mass will be being said, Note the Sung Propers are always the same for all the above Masses, the only other changes will be with the collects.
