Preaching to the choir here, but chant is beautiful and people are edified by its use. I've been receiving at least one "thank you" from a different individual every week after having implemented the SEP Communion antiphons (followed by a hymn).

This last week a gentleman told me that he loved it, but was curious as to what it was ... didn't seem to match up with the printed antiphon in the missalette. Thanks to explanations I received here, I was able to explain that spoken and sung propers are not always the same. He said it was great no matter what it was. I asked, "So you find it edifying to your faith then?"

"Yes, definitely."

Made me so warm and fuzzy.
