St. Mary, Our Lady of Grace, and St. Jean Baptiste(Muskegon, MI), are searching for a full-time Music Director. We are a merged community moving toward a full merger into one single parish with multiple campuses. The ideal candidate should be able to be flexible and sensitive to the unique needs posed by such a situation. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of Catholic music, liturgy and rubrics. The candidate must be able to work well with, maintain, and further develop a wide range of musical appreciations, including traditional choirs, cantors, and a Spanish choir(spanish fluency not required). Experience with Gregorian chant would be fantastic! Salary will be based on qualifications. Health benefits and retirement benefits available. References should include on priest, one lay musician, and one reference at large.
