Personal note: Greg Homza and his predecessors have done some fine work with their parish choir. I cannot speak to the current situation of pastoral leadership, but I do believe that they are offering a competitive compensation package for interim work.

St. John the Beloved Church in Summerville, SC is in need of an interim organist/choir director, beginning December 1st. Four weekend Masses (Sat 5:30pm, Sun 7:30/9:30/11:30am), Holy Days (including Christmas Eve/Christmas Day -- see schedule below), one weekly adult choir rehearsal (currently Wednesday, 7-9pm, but could be Sat/Sun afternoon), and personal practice...no office work...all music is planned, worship aids done, etc. II/22 Peragallo pipe organ (1997) and 7'4" Yamaha C7 grand piano. Approx. 15-20 hrs/wk. Salary negotiable, and Saturday overnight housing could likely be arranged if needed.

** Masses on Monday, 12/24 at 3:30pm (cantor -- 15 min prelude), 6:00pm (cantor -- 15 min prelude), 10:30pm (adult choir -- 30 min prelude) and Tuesday, 12/25 at 11:00am (children's choir -- 15 min prelude)

** Masses on Monday, 12/31 at 5:30pm and Tuesday, 1/1 at 11:00am (Octave of Christmas/BVM)
