I was wondering if anyone knows of a good website that has individual recordings of parts for sacred polyphony. I am looking for Victoria's "O Magnum" in particular, but other polyphonic works will probably come in handy as well.
Thanks to you both. Noel, when you pay, do you pay for the one track? So, for example, the soprano part is $5.99? And if you join you pay half of this? Sorry, I'm just a bit confused. It is quite awesome, especially the Gregorian Chant. Wow.
For Victoria, just go to the tomasluisdevictoria.org site. There are MIDI files for all parts. The "O magnum mysterium" may be found under motetes on the Victoria page.
Thanks CH! That's great. Not as beautiful as the Curtis Tracks, but I'll give my choir both options and they can choose! It did not work on my MAC though. I had to use a PC. Would MAC users need an app for this.
