    1:30 Singing class where they color in the square notes of a Kyrie, using black for all notes except Fa - red and Do - green. Also printed on parchment style paper. Listening to recording of it repeated softly while they are taught to follow the notes and then sing along.

    2:30 Brief introduction to Adoration, Silent Adoration for a brief period closing with Pater Noster read in Latin by group and group singing of the Kyrie.

    3:00 Procession back to main room, remove garments, have ice cream, send them home.
  • I'm glad you framed the topic as "monks and nuns", rather than the more common "priests and nuns" seen throughout Catholic-dom. The latter inadvertently suggests being a nun is like a woman's alternative to priesthood, while at the same time devaluing male religious life.

    I wish permanent deacons would feel free to wear cassocks around church property, at least.
