Holding auditions for a paid tenor position with the Schola Cantorum of Saint Agnes in midtown Manhattan. The professional Schola sings for the 11:00 Tridentine Latin High Mass and the 12:30 English Mass every Sunday from September through Corpus Christi Sunday as well as for occasional weekday feasts. Polyphonic settings of the Latin Ordinaries, motets and Gregorian chant are this ensemble's primary repertoire, but seasonal concerts are also given. The only rehearsal is on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM, so sight-reading skills are required. Competitive New York rates and a wonderful, cohesive, and friendly ensemble.
