Friends, I thumbed through a collection of 2-pt pieces and found a nice section of a Lassus Credo (Missa Da Pacem), to which I set a different text. From this week's gospel:

"This is truly the prophet, the one who is to come into the world."

Set for Soprano/Tenor, though the ranges are moderate, and could be done with lower voices if you dropped it a step.
