I am in the process of adopting some of the most widely-used accompaniments for use with the Spanish translations provided by Fr. Matthew Spencer

    Here are the ordinaries.

Accompaniments will be posted in this thread.

    ryand,

Do you know when the rest of the Ordinary will be set with accompaniment?

I haven't given much thought to these as I haven't been working in a Spanish speaking parish (or any parish for that matter) for awhile now.

What are you looking for? For the set here:

everything but the Gloria is done. I think that's because I made these during a no-Gloria season so it wasn't relevant. The accompaniments are the same as Ostrowski's for the ICEL chants, I just set them to the different language.

I did notice though that there is a second set of ordinaries on that site. Maybe I'll do something for those.

What is it that you need though? What are you asking for as far as "the rest" or the ordinary?

    Hello!
I was wondering if you had written an accompaniment to the Gloria? I play for a Spanish mass in Milwaukee, and have a very small, inexperienced choir. They would not be comfortable singing the whole Gloria acapella. Also, have you, or anyone you know, set the psalms or propers in chant?
