St. Thomas More Academy in Raleigh is the North Carolina Research Triangle's destination of choice for robust college preparatory education in the finest Catholic traditions. Our intimate, joyful, and highly academic learning community nurtures excellence of mind and character and empowers Christian leadership for the 21st century.
We are now accepting applications in consideration of a 2012-13 combined opening in music and theology. The instructor will facilitate curriculum in the musical arts, primarily in singing, and teach a dynamic first-year course introducing the Catholic faith. Abilities in piano and organ are highly desirable. Some experience in the visual arts would be welcome, but is not required. Teaching certification is not required.
The preferred candidate presents a history of educational and employment excellence. She or he supports the Academy’s faithfully Catholic identity, values assertive college preparatory education, and endorses close human formation in the model of St. John Bosco. All positions are full-time, and compensation is highly competitive.
