    Working under the guidance of the Director of Worship, oversees the liturgical music life at St. Francis de Sales Seminary.

    Responsibilities include music for weekday masses (Wednesday is a regular commitment), special liturgical events throughout the year (at least 6 fall on the weekend), prepare Orders of Worship, select and train music ministers and cantors.

    Qualification

    • Performance ability in organ and piano
    • Proficient in vocal/choral technique
    • Knowledge of current documents and theology concerning liturgy and liturgical music
    • Proven skill in organizing and directing a schola
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

    Start Date: 5/14/2012

    Employment Type: Part Time—12.5 hours per week position.
