In response to someone who asked me how to use GNU Solfege to learn musicianship proper to Gregorian Chant, I started a step-by-step tutorial in an attempt to answer his question. For those with the basic ability to match pitch, GNU Solfege may be a useful tool to be used in conjunction with actual choir/schola participation - if one knows which learning modules to use.
