    I received the sweetest note from one of my singers, just expressing a merry Christmas wish.

    It's always a bit of a challenging time around the holidays, isn't it? Not too easy to be merry when juggling hundreds of musical contingencies?

    All the more reason why I take her point: Merry Christmas!

    I don't want to ruin your thread, but no,.....it is not Christmas yet.

    Nine more days until you can post on here: "Merry Christmas". Imagine if somebody told you "Happy Easter"......on Good Friday.

    Bah, humbug!

    The Holy Week-Easter transition is much different than the Advent-Christmas transition. It's not a complete turnaround, but a contiguous process. She must be on the donkey by now, getting started on the road to Bethlehem.
