Hopefully a few of you from the Cleveland area can help me. I'm trying to make a list of different parishes who put their music in their Bulletin and post their Bulletin online. For this discussion, musical philosophy doesn't matter. I like to compare what different parishes are doing. Plus I like to use these to determine where I might be interested in attending mass when I decide to try something new. Here's what I have right now:
This really shouldn't be unusual. If you're going to preach FCAP, make it possible. I hate going into a strange parish and finding that I don't know the jingle to which they sing the Ordinary there.
It seems odd that the order of worship isn't the first thing you see when you open the bulletin. Isn't the liturgy more important than the details about the pot luck supper?
It's just how it worked out. Originally the order of worship was on a flap that was the first thing you saw ... then the flap got eliminated and a page added ... it just happened.
The important thing is that people can find it easily, which they can.
