Just wanted to let you all know that my schola (a smaller, more polished version) assisted at last Sunday's EF Mass at Holy Spirit in Lantana, FL. There were around 70 seminarians from all over Florida and a few faculty from the seminary there "observing" a Missa Cantata. By God's grace, everything was just about perfect. The priest has been doing Low Mass (with an occasional MC with us) there for over a year and had it down pat. He sings well and gives a great homily. He is simply the model modern priest. The guys sang really well and the local choir of folks-of-an-advanced-age sang motets by Kevin Allen with success. Many of the students were impressed and had some great questions. I told my guys before our rehearsals that this might be the most important Mass they have ever sung. I think God used us well.
