This Saturday (Nov. 19) at 8PM at Harkness Chapel, Case Western Reserve University, the CWRU Early Music Singers and Collegium Musicum will perform Lux Perpetua: 400 years of Victoria's choral music. The concert is mostly Victoria, but will also include works of Guerrero, Cabezon, Cornago, Morales, Vasquez, Carcere and Mudarra, and mostly choral, but will include consorts of recorders, viols and voices and a loud band (2 shawms including me, 2 sackbuts, and dulcian). If anyone is in the area and interested, we'd love to have you come.
