I tried cpdl.org and they had TTBB; no SATB :(
Any clues where I can find it online?
  • Not online, but GIA publishes an edition in SATB.

Yes, we use the GIA edition, which works just fine . . . BTW, does anyone want to dispute Palestrina's authorship of this piece? Has a couple sections that sound very "romantic" . . .

Here's an edition, up a fifth from the CPDL edition, for SATB. I'll probably refine the edition and publish it there, but in the meantime, feel free to use this one.

    You're welcome, frater!

  • FWIW, Heath, Grove 2 lists it as "doubtful or unconfirmed".

I knew it! It just doesn't sound like anything anything else I've heard from the late 16-th century . . .
  • I just uploaded one that’s a half-step higher than CHG’s. I also changed the alto in m17, which to me looked like a typo. I moved a bass note down an octave a few bars before the end as well … just sings better.

Since this almost certainly isn’t Palestrina ;-) …
