11-MIS-1316: Director of Campus Ministry
Believing firmly that a four-year college experience has the potential to be one of the most significant and crucial periods in the life and spiritual development of a young person, Saint Joseph's College of Maine is seeking a Director of Campus Ministry. The position is available beginning September 1, 2011.
This position calls for someone who is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, passionate about education and helping young people to become closer to Jesus Christ. This individual should also be able to organize and oversee a variety of spiritual, cultural and academic activities – including retreats, lecture series, community service/volunteer work and be willing and able to give “the extra mile” for our students. The successful candidate will be a Roman Catholic who is faithful to the magisterium, holds a college degree, is able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff, and is creative and energetic. Previous campus ministry experience is required.

Saint Joseph’s College, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, is a Catholic liberal arts college enrolling roughly 1000 students of all faiths on campus in the traditional 4-year college, while another 2,400 working adults take online courses from locations throughout the country and the world. The beautiful 350 acre campus is located on Sebago Lake, one half hour from Portland, Maine and two hours from Boston.
