Attached are two versions of the English psalm tone proper for the 28th Sunday in ordinary time. These psalm tone propers are very simple for small inexperienced choirs, particularly when sung in unison. There are only 3 psalm tones in the liturgical cycles so learning the proper of the Mass from Sunday to Sunday takes a minimum of time. The first psalm tone format is simplest and the psalm tone II proper is somewhat more complex but not beyond the competancy of most choirs. These will be published in two volumes that include ordinary, seasonal and feast day propers.
