Does anyone have a compilation of all the troped kyries?
  • If the term "tropes" refers to the Form C invocations in English, the current English-language Sacramentary for use in the dioceses of the United States contains eight sample tropes (pp. 361 ff.). The forthcoming Missal will have (presumably re-translated) versions of these, but in the Appendix. The rubrics in both the current and forthcoming Order of Mass permits "the following or other invocations".

    I.
You were sent to heal the contrite…
    You came to call sinners…
You plead for us at the right hand of the Father…

    II.
Lord Jesus, you came to gather the nations into the peace of God's kingdom…
You come in word and sacrament to strengthen us in holiness…
You will come in glory with salvation for your people…

    III.
Lord Jesus, you are mighty God and Prince of peace…
Lord Jesus, you are Son of God and Son of Mary…
Lord Jesus, you are Word made flesh and splendor of the Father…

    IV.
Lord Jesus, you came to reconcile us to one another and to the Father…
Lord Jesus, you heal the wounds of sin and division…
Lord Jesus, you intercede for us with your Father…

    V.
You raise the dead to life in the Spirit…
You bring pardon and peace to the sinner…
You bring light to those in darkness…

    VI.
Lord Jesus, you raise us to new life…
Lord Jesus, you forgive us our sins…
Lord Jesus, you feed us with your body and blood…

    VII.
Lord Jesus, you have shown us the way to the Father…
Lord Jesus, you have given us the consolation of the truth…
Lord Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd, leading us into everlasting life…

    VIII.
Lord Jesus, you healed the sick…
    Lord Jesus, you forgave sinners…
Lord Jesus, you give us yourself to heal us and bring us strength…

This is adorable. But what I meant were the pre-Reformation tropes.
  • There are several sources which give the Sarum (Salisbury) version of these tropes.
The easiest way to find them is by searching on 'Sarum' and 'liturgy' in Google Books.
A good published source is Nick Sandon's 'The Use of Salisbury' Music of the Ordinary volume.
  • There is a good book published in Germany: Anton Stingl, Tropen zum Kyrie im Graduale Romanum.

Dreves's Analecta Hymnica Medii Aevi devotes at least one volume to tropes of the Mass ordinary. Several volumes of this monumental work are available online at www.archive.org--just flipping through the pages is great fun.
