I've been away from the Forum for some time. Occasionally life and professional concerns get in the way of hanging out online. However, I did want to share the program for Cantorae's upcoming concert at the Cathedral-Basilica in St. Augustine, Florida, on May 6th, 2011 at 6 p.m.

The concert is a melange of chant and polyphony, ancient and modern. And even includes some accompaniment - a hand drum here, a finger cymbal there, and the salterio on a unique Mass from France. My singers have worked hard. We lost two singers and replaced them - and the ensemble has pulled together beautifully.

I'm attaching the draft program, so you can see what we're up to. And I look forward to having a little more time for the forum in the future.
