• A Mass using the new English translation which will be taking place in just seven short months. Melodically, this Mass is based mainly on its respective counterparts from Mass VIII (de Angelis) the Jubilate Deo collection of Latin chants. Metrically, it's influenced by the two most popular Masses of Jan Vermulst - "Mass for Christian Unity" and "People's Mass".

Attached is the basic unison version that I finished in July, 2010. I am now working on the choral version of this same Mass. The Kyrie and two versions of the Gloria are finished. To see the work in progress, one only has to visit http://christusvincitmusic.blogspot.com.

If you like what you see, feel free to print and start rehearsing your parish's choir and congregation free of charge. This is my gift to the Church!

    Peace,

  • IMPROVED! This is the FULL version which includes pew parts and alternating congregation/polyphony lines in the Gloria, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei. If you like the basic edition I printed earlier, you may just LOVE the full version. Just finished today!

The .pdf is too big to attach here, so enjoy it at http://cvmusic.christusvincit.net/holyangelsmass.pdf .
You can also get individual pieces of the Mass plus a plethora of Psalm settings of my own at the Christus Vincit Music blog - http://christusvincitmusic.blogspot.com .

    Enjoy!

    Brian,

I've added this new version to Complete Masses using the New ICEL Translation of the Roman Missal —— I hope that is OK with you.
  • Jeff, you might want to repost it from the CVMusic site to yours. I had to fix an error (missing Agnus Dei version 2 page). All set now. Thanks for your inclusion. :)
