Just in case anyone is interested, William Tortolano gives Gregorian Chant workshops regularly at St. Edmund's Retreat on Enders Island in Mystic, CT. I've never been there myself, but it looks like a beautiful site, and Dr. Tortolano is certainly a well-respected figure in the craft. The next event is June 1 to 6, 2008. Here's the link:

Anyone been to one of these? Anyone heard Tortolano speak? (Or maybe he's on this forum?)
Dr. Tortolano directed the schola for the first high latin mass celebrated in Vermont on Aug. 15th after Summorum Pontificum was released. I'm really interested in meeting him and possibly learning from him. My question is, why hasn't he done any chant workshops in Vermont? Or does he live in CT? (I assumed he's from Vermont since he was at the mass, but maybe that's not the case) Does anyone know how to get a hold of him?
