    a newcomer. that i am.

    what a wonderful forum that i've stumbled upon. I've been exploring it all afternoon (after recently wading through 'Sing to the Lord'), and by chance, clicking on an analysis/critique of that document.

    thank you all for being here.

    i accompany an excellent choir/ensemble with an incredible director on the organ or piano. my pastor is an organist and my director has her doctorate in choral conducting. i am very fortunate to associate with such talent but often feel inadequate.

    i can see that i will learn alot here.

    Welcome, MaryMagdalen! I'm also relatively new to this site, and I can attest to how wonderful it is. I've learned a great deal in the past two months or so that I've been on it, and it's really helped to shape and mold my perspective on sacred music.
