So, the CMAA, which hasn't advertised in print in an age, has something of an ad blitz coming in the next weeks. First the Wanderer is running a huge thing this weekend, promoting the Colloq. Then during the Pope's visit, we have three successive weeks of ads appearing in the National Catholic Register, which is putting out special editions. This could be good, but who knows!
We have considered a mailing but too costly. No one is really sure what good these ads will do of course. I seriously doubt that their impact will be anything like the power of blogs and word of mouth etc.
I think I am going to be able to go to the chant workshop in Lafayette in a few weeks.
No doubt most people in attendance will already know of this, but I shall make certain.
Also last year, IIRC there was a... widget?... banner? I am a technidiot, but there was a thingie (now, THERE'S a precise term for you...) to cut and paste into blogs and web sites to advertise the colloquium.
Is there such a thing this year?
I'm a real zero with this stuff... can anyone tell me specifically how I could add the element to my blog with the lovely graphics? I have a blogspot blog. thx, Janet.
