The community of St. Joseph Church, Dover, Ohio, seeks an experienced pastoral musician to serve as coordinator of Music ministries. St. Joseph is a 1,300+ family parish with a strong music foundation, solid music tradition and an emerging Hispanic population. This is a full-time, professional, ministerial position with benefits.

The coordinator of Music Ministries will: oversee, direct, and coordinate the music ministries for all liturgy and parish worship; recruit, train, and oversee all musicians, choirs, cantors, song leaders, and other music volunteers, serve as a resource to parish ministries and develop a plan for introducing new repertoire. This person must work collaboratively with the pastor, parish clergy and all parish staff, as well as serve as a member of the parish's Spiritual Life and Liturgy Committee. Qualified applicants must be highly organized, and possess a friendly demeanor, and be enthusiastic to work with a vibrant busy staff.

Ideal candidate must have previous experience as a pastoral musician. An excellent working knowledge of Catholic worship is required.
