    Everybody,
    Visit your local public library
    and acquire a library card
    and see what online materials are available to you.
    Visit non-local libraries and acquire their cards if they permit it, and do the same.

    Also, do not overlook materials to which you might already be entitled;
    for example, The New York Times Archives are available to paper subscribers.
