Hello, CMAA friends! Please help me spread the word about a part-time organist position at the parish where I serve as Music Director. This is an ideal student position, with lots of training in sacred music. The priests and people of the parish are very supportive and enthusiastic about good music.

7pm Low Mass with Hymns, on the 3rd Monday of the month
Special Masses, approx. 10/year
Low Mass with hymns and no rehearsal, July and August
The newly installed organ (September '09) is a Johannus
Rembrandt with three manuals and an AGO pedal board.
The Music Program focuses on Gregorian chant, Renaissance polyphony,
traditional hymnody, and organ works.
St. Anne's is designated as a personal parish, and includes Catholics throughout the
San Diego diocese. All Masses and services are in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite,
according to the liturgical books of 1962.
And an opportunity to work with a wonderful director! Unfortunately, the commute would be just "too much." Hope you find the organist who will be a strong right arm - and fun to work with.
Just bumping this up on the list.
CMAA friends please pray for a suitable organist for my parish. It's a fabulous growing community, with a highly supportive pastor and associate.
Don't hestitate to email or call me directly with any questions.
