    I am perplexed by all the seemingly conflicting references. Can you help me?

    Passion Sunday OFFERTORY

    Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo: retribue servo tuo: vivam, et custodiam sermones tuos: vivifica me secundum verbum tuum, Domine.
    I will confess to Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: render to Thy servant: I shall live and keep Thy words: enliven me according to Thy word, O Lord.

    I searched the Vulgata Clementina and came up with the following:

    Confitebor tibi, in toto corde meo: Ps. 9, 2a; Ps. 85, 12a; Ps. 110, 1a; Ps. 137, 1a
    Retribue servo tuo: vivifica me, et custodiam sermones tuos: Ps. 118, 17
    Vivifica me secundum verbum tuum Ps. 118, 25b; Ps. 118, 107b

    The reference to Ps. 118, 7 and 118, 10 in the Gregorian Missal assumes some cut and paste work:
    118, 7a: Confitebor tibi in directione cordis
    118, 10a: In toto corde meo exquisivi te
