Winter Chant Intensive transportation?
  • I'm flying in on Monday and will arrive at noon, but I have no plans for transportation from the airport to the church. Any ideas?

I'd suggest a cab in from the airport. Are you staying at one of the hotels? If so, transportation once you are in town shouldn't be a problem - hotels are within walking distance, and if it rains, carpooling will certainly be easy to arrange. A good number of particpants will be there with their cars.

Alternatively, someone reading this forum might be coming in at the airport around the same time...and could give you a ride. Any takers?

General information about taxis and shuttles is available on-line at http://www.chs-airport.com/taxi.htm, in case something doesn't work out by Monday.

I plan on flying in that morning and taking the city bus. It's not the fastest means, but it's a good way to get a feel for the city. More info on Charleston public transportation at http://www.ridecarta.com/home/default.aspx
  • I'm staying at the Kings Courtyard Inn. I'll only need a ride from CHS to the church.
