Licensing for chant on the radio

    I am part of a Catholic radio station that is getting started.

    I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what I would need to do in order to secure permission to play recordings of chant on the air. For the more popular music, there are companies that have almost every piece of music you would want to play (ASCAP, SESAC, BMI). However, it does not appear that these aforementioned companies own the license for any of the good chant recordings that I am interested in--recordings from Solemnes, Nova Schola Gregoriana, the recordings on the CMAA Amazon site, etc.

    If anyone that has a suggestion of where to start, it would be much appreciated! Pax.
