I have been working through the Nova Organi Harmonia volumes, and I am hoping to reset some of the accompaniments and transpose them.

Before I start, I would like to be clear about where things stand on copyright. An early thread here mentioned that research, all the way back to the Lemmens Institute, showed that it would be legally possible to reprint NOH. Does anyone know whether that research, or any permission from the rights holders, was ever written up or posted? Could it be linked somewhere?

I would also be grateful to hear from anyone who knows how the CMAA transcription project approached the question.
