Video: "Music of the Huelgas Codex for your Parish Choir"

In May 2026, Dr. Emily Thelen, a musicologist at St. Norbert College and assistant editor of Sacred Music, presented an introduction to the early polyphony of the Las Huelgas Codex, written and preserved at the Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria in Burgos, Spain. Her talk presents several examples of two- and three-part pieces that can be included in parish repertoire.
