Just published on his feast day: the Saint John Henry Newman choirbook, a selection of 84 Latin motets and 7 masses for unison or reduced voices and organ covering the church's liturgical year, designed for small amateur parish choirs with limited resources. All the music can be sung unison and organ, while many motets can be sung in 4 parts. It includes music by Bach, Gounod, Mendelssohn, Schubert and Webbe. This is a public domain open source project which can be freely copied and distributed as needed with no copyright restrictions.
I am the choirmaster for the Latin mass community of St Winefride, Shrewsbury, England, and the choir music librarian and archivist for the Birmingham Oratory, the community of Saint John Henry Newman. This collection has been based on my experience as a music librarian and archivist, as well as running an amateur choir starting from scratch, and can be used in a Latin mass, novus ordo or Anglican setting.
