Holy Family Catholic Church in Saint Louis Park, MN, is looking for a soprano section leader and member of our Schola Cantorum.
Applicants should be proficient sightreaders and excellent musicians in the breadth of the traditional Catholic repertoire, especially Renaissance polyphony and Gregorian chant.
This position opens following Corpus Christi (June 7).
Responsibilities:
Thursday 7-9pm rehearsals (September-Corpus Christi)
Sunday 9am (choir section leader) and 11am (member of pro SATB quartet) Masses throughout the year.
$100 per rehearsal, $80 per Mass ($260 per choir season week, ~$13000 per year). Special Masses and calls as needed. Additional cantoring opportunities may be available.
Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required.
