Just thought I'd share this as an interesting event format.
I provided the music for a Holy Hour on the Eve of Candlemas, with readings from Venerable Maria de Ágreda's Mystical City of God. Some music that is pretty standard rep, as well as some more obscure pieces, and one that I composed on a whim.
It was very well received, so we're doing another one in a few weeks, also with a nice variety of music. I directed/accompanied, and there was a budget for me to hire four singers, so it's all one-on-a-part, with me jumping in for divisi or 5-voice motets.
