Hello, everyone, this just crossed my email, and I thought it deserving of a share in this illustrious group.

Request for Proposal: Musical Settings of The Liturgy of the Hours, Second Edition

At its November 2025 meeting, the USCCB's Committee on Divine Worship determined to entrust the approval of all subsequent publishing proposals for the second edition of The Liturgy of the Hours to the Chairman of the Committee and the Executive Director of the Secretariat of Divine Worship. Proposals for musical settings are sought by Friday, January 16, 2026. Publishing in digital and audio formats are being considered in a separate proposal.

USCCB shouldn’t make composers come to them. THEY should be reaching out to Fr Weber and Richard Rice

The timeline suggest it's been informed by ... pre-proposals.

PS. The attached will soon be obsolete (in the wrong format, too difficult, not difficult enough, Gregorian psalmtones can't be used with English, etc., etc.), but it's how I do it, for what it's worth.
