Qualifications (Preferred) • Degree in Organ, Sacred Music, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. • Proficiency in organ playing and choral conducting. • Understanding of the Church’s vision for sacred music as expressed in Sacrosanctum Concilium, Musicam Sacram, and the writings of recent popes. • Commitment to Gregorian chant, polyphony, and the worthy hymn tradition of the Church. • Ability to engage and serve a multi-ethnic, multicultural parish community through inclusive and pastorally sensitive music leadership. • Strong leadership skills to rebuild choirs, form new ensembles, and foster congregational participation. • Excellent collaboration with clergy, staff, and parishioners.
Compensation • Salary: $50,000–$60,000, commensurate with education and experience. • Paid Time Off: Three weeks (including three weekends).
