Hymns for Padre Pio?

    His feast is coming up and is always well attended in my parish. I'm looking for suitable hymn suggestions, especially those that explicitly refer to him.

    You could use ChatGPT to write you one. Pick a hymn tune and tell ChatGPT to write you a Catholic Hymn about Padre Pio in what meter and how many verses you want. You’ll probably need to be more specific to get something appropriate for Mass.

    I have seen one before from the Franciscans but now i cant find it. I would contact them. Typically the Franciscans of the Holy Land have a lot of resources for hymns

    DON'T USE CHATGPT!!!

    AI sucks at everything hymn related. It pays no attention to meter or rhyme and has awful ideas.

    Using AI for anything remotely in the direction of church is also really tacky, like using chromed plastic candlesticks or polyester vestments. Disgusting.

    Any time you think of using AI - you EDIT EDIT EDIT.
    Never just have AI.

    I agree, I think AI is destroying true art and beauty. I feel that, as Catholic Musicians and Artists, John Paul IIs letter to artists is a good place for us to go to right now, when beauty is being attacked. John Paul explains that the whole vocation of the artist is to participate in Gods creation which AI completely ignores.
