Saint Mary's Church (FSSP) in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a music assistant to work with the Chorister program and as Organist for feasts and solemnities. This 15 hr position will pay commensurate with experience, and require on-sight work primarily Wednesday afternoons, Thursday evenings, and Sunday mornings. Flexibility is possible if the assistant cannot be there every Sunday, and summer music requirements are minimal. Opportunity for additional stipends for weddings and funeral are also possible.
St. Mary's is a quasi-parish of the Fraternity of St. Peter and follows the Liturgical books of 1962. The church is active with many young families. The music program primarily sings Gregorian chant and Renaissance Polyphony, consisting of 5 ensembles: an adult choir, men's schola, women's schola, Chorister program for ages 7-17, and an advanced High School mixed ensemble. The organ is currently a 2 manual Allen in a nice acoustic.
