A void known by most members here on the forum, Spanish music—especially those written in beautiful choral styles—are sorely lacking but Spanish versions of Gregorian chants are a good start for sacred music in the Spanish language. I was wondering if anyone could provide metrical translations of famous texts such as Ave Maris Stella, O Salutaris, Tantum Ergo, etc. I’ve been reminded of the need to compose music in Spanish, simple antiphons and responses but also choral music. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
