Tuesday: Today's additions are from the Mass of the day (Nativity of St. John the Baptist), with a Mass setting by Healey Willan; and recordings of three works in honor of the Holy Trinity performed at the open-reading session.
Did anyone happen to record the plenary talk given by Fr. Pasley this morning (Thursday June 26)? I was attending to other tasks and unfortunately ended up missing it.
Thanks for the quick updates on the recordings. It's not as good as being there, but at least I can hear what's going on. First missed Colloquium since 2013.
The encore for the organ concert was Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe." I didn't see the related movie and only know that because my now-brother-in-law asked me to play it at his and my sister's wedding.
The Morricone broke me. Just beautiful, that little figure at the beginning from the Veni Creator gets me every time. (Save the Liturgy, Save the World)
The Mass for Saturday, June 28, is on the site now: it was for the Vigil of the Feast of Ss. Peter and Paul, celebrated according to the Usus antiquior. The Mass ordinary was Haydn's "Lord Nelson" Mass, the Missa in angustiis.
More audio from the plenary talks and the workshops will be coming.
