This is a full-time position, available July 1, 2025. Duties include playing the organ at three weekend Masses (5 pm Saturday, 8 am and 10 am Sunday) and Holy Days (the organ is a 3-manual Johannus Ecclesia), directing the Adult and Children's scholas and leading a weekly rehearsal for each. The director will also be responsible for training cantors and facilitating formation of singers in liturgy, sacred music, and traditional Latin (chant and choral), as well as planning sacred music for all liturgical celebrations in the parish and providing/arranging for music at "non-scheduled" liturgies such as weddings and funerals.
Applicants should be practicing Catholics who are self-motivated and have knowledge of Catholic liturgy and Gregorian chant (both Latin and English). Previous choral conducting experience and requisite organ skills are required, as well as the ability to effective lead rehearsals and endeavor to cultivate a love of authentic liturgical music.
