I have been tasked with singing the Exsultet for the Easter Vigil this year in Spanish. This will be my first time and I am very excited.
In my search for settings that are faithful to the original Latin melody, I came across a setting put together by Fr. Matthew Spencer O.S.J. in an earlier forum post. His setting was put together in 2009, before the approved Misal Romano tercera edicion for the US. I used Fr. Matthew's setting as a template and created a versions that has the text from the latest Misal Romano. I had to adjust the spacing and edit post production in Adobe to get a good reading that would take into consideration page turns! I am by no means a pro at chant editing software but I did my best to clean up the scores and tidy it up. I hope this may be of use for anyone else!
I plan to do a few audio recordings soon as well! I am not an ordained minister so I will be singing the long form for non ordained version.
