Thoughts on throwing away used music

I print the psalm and gospel acc for my choir every week and with it the hymn book numbers and verses.
Thus, I really have no use for them after each Mass. Is it okay to throw it out each week?
I guess I'm unsure as it's sacred music.

    Thanks in advance

Personally, I am more worried about the waste of paper; especially by the use of those throw-away-missalets... You might re-use your psalm&acclamation pages in the three year lectionary cycle.

Making copies is inevitable but except for Vespers where the sheet corresponds to a date and a season, I try to make it reusable.

Otherwise you have to throw it out, and I get nervous over the amount of paper used and the cost. But not everyone has this limitation!

Okay, this is very helpful. I realize it's probably best to try to make them reusable. Thanks for your responses!
